User reviews of third party modules/libraries?
(Hopefully this is on-topic for this StackEx? If not I'll delete it.)
We're looking for a third-party licensing solution right now. (I'm not
looking for recommendations, I know that's not on-topic.) We've been
burned before on this and would really like to see some reviews before we
sign a deal with anyone (or even seriously pursue a deal with anyone), but
obviously the only thing any of these outfits have on their website are
glowing testimonials from companies we've never heard of.
Is there anywhere we could find real user reviews of these kinds of
products, or ideally of paid-for third-party libraries/sub-components in
general?
